Dr. Mara Mberira

Dr. Mberira, founder of Psychotherapy & Consultancy Services CC, has over 20 years of
experience in clinical and organizational consulting in Namibia and internationally. She holds a
Ph.D. and an MSc in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology from Howard University, and an
MSc in Counseling from City University London. As a Fulbright Scholar trained in the UK and
USA, her expertise encompasses neuropsychology and a broad range of clinical psychology
services for individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, and adults.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Mberira provides organizational training and assessments in
employee wellness, trauma counseling, absenteeism management, emotional intelligence,
leadership, and conflict resolution. She is a registered clinician with the Namibian Allied Health
Professions Council and a certified Mediator with the High Court of Namibia. Dr. Mberira has
served on several boards, including as Deputy Commissioner for the Employment Equity
Commission, and has worked extensively with the media to promote mental health awareness.
