The vibe in the virtual room was electric. Although the session was to start at 10h00, by 09h30 the room was almost full. The Girls showed up beautifully in their Liminality gear. As we were settling in, one of the Girls asked me: “Dr Lulu what would we be doing now if this Lunch was in person”. As
I responded, I reflected on what we have lost by hosting the Lunches virtually. But I equally reflected on the opportunities that have been opened for us.
At this very Lunch we had Girls joining in from London, Nairobi, Maseru, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, and more. I now see more clearly that Traversing Liminality was always meant to be Pan-African in reach. In the Faculty debrief, the ever so wise Coach D declared Traversing Liminality global!!
